Description

The Bayon is a richly decorated Buddhist/Hindu temple at Angkor in Cambodia. It was the last temple to be built at Angkor, and the only one that was built primarily to worship Brahma. The Khmer Empire is used to define Cambodia between the 9th to 15th centuries, when the nation was a Hindu/Buddhist empire in Southeast Asia.
This exquisite sculpture of Lord Ganesha is done in the style of the art found at Bayon.
