Dokra (or Dhokra) is a non-ferrous metal casting process that uses the lost wax technique. The Bastar region of Chhattisgarh is famous for Dokra work done in brass. This exquisitely detailed five diya ritual lamp from the 1920s is made in brass and is a fine example of Dokra work.
