Description

In Hinduism, Nandi is the name of the bull who serves as the mount (Vahana) and gatekeeper of Lord Shiva and Parvati. All over India, temples dedicated to Shiva generally have a seated Nandi displayed at the entrance.
Made of brass, this Nandi is a collectible from Maharashtra or Karnataka. An old collectible, it is chipped on the left corner at the back.
