Retro postmodern teak shelf from the 1960s/70s. The shelf’s geometric shapes are reminiscent of Mid-century Modern or Scandinavian design, but the asymmetrical arrangement of the shelves is more Postmodern. Postmodern design often plays with form and function, sometimes in unexpected ways. 
The Retro style refers to designs that were popular during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
